How to Clean A 13" Mac Book

The 13" Macbook is so white that even a small stain on it makes it look so dirty. This would help you to clean your macbook with out affecting the electronic parts.

Step 1: Switch off the power and remove the battery from the back side of the macbook.

Step 2:Confirm what kind of stain does your macbook carry.

Step 3: If it is a stain made by using dirty hands. then you can use your eraser that you use for stationary to clean those stains.

Step 4: If still they are present then try some cream based cleaning agent like cleanex or kolin.

Step 5: Take a sponge and lightly touch the surface of the sponge and the cleaning agent and slowly wipe on the stain.

Step 6: Please be careful when you are wiping near the keys and the screen as they have the tendency to spoil the mechanism of the key.

Step 7: As an alternate solution you can use alcohol or a nail polish remover. But this is quiet a problematic solution. You should be careful while using the alcohol as they can pass through the key quiet fast.

Step 8: While cleaning with liquids, you should be careful to use a sponge and not to directly spray on the macbook.

Step 9: After the cleaning is done,you should remember to dry the place where you cleaned. These macbook need to dried in order to prevent them from getting technical errors.

Tips:

  •  While cleaning with sponge please see to that it does not touch the keys.
  • Don't forget to dry the macbook after cleaning.
