How to Use an iPhone 3GS to take pictures on an iPad

Apr 15, 2010 05:35 PM
A person using an iPad and an iPhone to display a digital interface.

In this video, you will learn exactly how to take pictures with your Apple iPad! Wifi or 3g model is fine, 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB models are all fine also! What you need for this to work:

An iPad

An iPhone 3GS (IPHONE 3G AND IPHONE 2G WON'T WORK!)

Camera-A Application (1$): http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/camera-a/id363441925?mt=8

Camera-B Application (Free): http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/camera-b/id363442203?mt=8

With this application, you can zoom in which is cool. You can also save the picture to both your iPad and iPhone 3GS. While this doesn't take pictures with great picture quality, it could be used as a spy camera, security camera, and, of course, a way to straight out take pictures using an iPad since there's no camera.

The next big software update for iPhone is coming sometime in April and will include a Food section in Apple News+, an easy-to-miss new Ambient Music app, Priority Notifications thanks to Apple Intelligence, and updates to apps like Mail, Photos, Podcasts, and Safari. See what else is coming to your iPhone with the iOS 18.4 update.
